Saudi-International Colorectal Diseases Forum and First Arab Colorectal Meeting, 16-18 February 2025, Riyadh

On 16-18 February THD was in Riyadh to participate in the Saudi-International Colorectal Diseases Forum and First Arab Colorectal Meeting.

During the Saudi-International Colorectal Diseases Forum and First Arab Colorectal Meeting held on February 16-18 in Riyadh, Dr. Adam Aboalkaz gave a presentation on the role of pelvic floor imaging, with a particular focus on endoanal ultrasound. Endoanal ultrasonography allows for the evaluation of the morphology of the sphincter complex and for the identification and assessment of any sphincter lesion.

On the same day, Dr. Marco La Torre illustrated the advantages of the THD SphinKeeper procedure for the minimally invasive treatment of fecal incontinence. This cutting-edge technique allows for a significant reduction in symptoms and in a substantial improvement in the quality of life for patients.
